ALGISUM syrup 200 ml contains Sodium Alginate 500 mg + Potassium Bicarbonate 100 mg per 5 ml. It is an antacid and alginate reflux suppressant used for the relief of gastroesophageal reflux symptoms such as heartburn, acid regurgitation, and indigestion.
Uses:
- Relief of heartburn and acid indigestion.
- Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux (GERD).
- Relief of acid regurgitation and reflux esophagitis symptoms.
- Management of reflux symptoms after meals, during pregnancy, or following gastric surgery.
Dose:
- Adults and children 12 years and above: 5–10 ml after meals and at bedtime.
- Children 2–12 years: 2.5–5 ml after meals and at bedtime, as prescribed by a physician.
- Shake the bottle well before use and take after meals and before bedtime.
- The dose and duration of treatment should be determined by the treating physician.
