BETATIN 8mg TABLET contains Betahistine Dihydrochloride 8 mg. It is a histamine analogue (anti-vertigo medicine) used for the treatment of Ménière's disease and vestibular vertigo.

Uses:

Treatment of Ménière's disease
Relief of vertigo (dizziness)
Reduction of tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
Management of hearing loss associated with Ménière's syndrome

Dose:

Usually 8–16 mg three times daily, or as prescribed by the physician
Preferably taken with meals
Maximum recommended daily dose is 48 mg
Dose should be adjusted according to the patient's clinical response, and improvement may take several weeks.
