Bilista Kids 10mg is a mouth-dissolving (orodispersible) tablet containing Bilastine (10 mg). It is a non-sedating second-generation antihistamine that selectively blocks peripheral H1 receptors to control allergy symptoms without causing drowsiness.

Uses

Symptomatic relief from allergic rhinitis and hay fever (sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion)

Typical Dose

Children (6 to 11 years, weighing at least 20 kg): The standard dose is 10 mg (1 tablet) taken once daily. Do not exceed 10 mg per day.
Administration: Must be taken on an empty stomach—either 1 hour before or 2 hours after food or fruit juice, as food significantly lowers the drug's effectiveness.
How to Give: Place the tablet directly on the child's tongue; it disperses rapidly in saliva and can be swallowed without water. Alternatively, it can be dissolved in a teaspoon of plain water immediately before swallowing. Never mix it with juice.
Do not give to children under 6 years old or under 20 kg without direct medical supervision.
