FAROPEN 150 mg contains Faropenem 150 mg. It is a penem class antibiotic medicine used to treat bacterial infections by stopping the growth of susceptible bacteria.
Uses:
- Treatment of respiratory tract infections
- Treatment of urinary tract infections
- Treatment of skin and soft tissue infections
- Treatment of other bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms
Dose:
- Adults: Usually 150–300 mg two or three times daily, or as directed by a physician
- Take the medicine after meals or as prescribed
- Dose and duration depend on the type and severity of infection
