SEFUR 1.5 gm IV INJ. contains Cefuroxime Sodium 1.5 g. It is a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat a wide range of serious bacterial infections.

Uses:

Treatment of respiratory tract infections
Treatment of urinary tract infections (UTIs)
Treatment of skin and soft tissue infections
Treatment of bone and joint infections
Treatment of septicemia and meningitis (as prescribed)
Prevention of surgical site infections (surgical prophylaxis)

Dose:

Adults: Usually 750 mg–1.5 g every 8 hours by intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) injection, or as directed by a physician.
