Description:
SITOMET 50/500MG TABLET contains Sitagliptin 50 mg + Metformin Hydrochloride 500 mg. It is a combination antidiabetic medicine (DPP-4 inhibitor and biguanide) used for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Uses:
Used to control blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes.
Helps improve insulin function and reduce glucose production in the liver.
Helps maintain better blood glucose control when diet and exercise alone are not sufficient.
Used alone or with other diabetes medicines as prescribed.
Dose:
Usually taken once or twice daily with meals or as directed by the physician.
Dose may be adjusted according to blood glucose levels and patient condition.
