Description:
WIDEBAC 50MG/VIAL IV INJECTION contains Daptomycin 50 mg. It is a lipopeptide antibiotic medicine used for the treatment of serious bacterial infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive bacteria.
Uses:
Helps treat complicated skin and soft tissue infections.
Used for bloodstream infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
Helps treat infections caused by resistant Gram-positive bacteria such as MRSA.
Used for other serious bacterial infections as prescribed.
Dose:
Administer by intravenous (IV) infusion as directed by a registered physician.
Dose depends on body weight, type and severity of infection, kidney function, and treatment response.
