Zox Suspension contains Nitazoxanide (100 mg per 5 ml), a broad-spectrum antiprotozoal and antiparasitic agent. It disrupts the energy metabolism of anaerobic protozoa and parasites, leading to their destruction.
Treatment of diarrhea caused by Giardia lamblia (giardiasis)
Treatment of diarrhea caused by Cryptosporidium parvum (cryptosporidiosis)
Treatment of intestinal amoebiasis or amoebic dysentery
Children (1 to 3 years): 5 ml (100 mg) taken every 12 hours (twice daily) for 3 days.
Children (4 to 11 years): 10 ml (200 mg) taken every 12 hours (twice daily) for 3 days.
Administration: Must be taken with food to maximize absorption and reduce stomach upset. Shake the bottle well before each use.
Use strictly as prescribed by a physician.
