LORIX 5% Cream 30gm contains Permethrin 5% w/w. It is an antiparasitic topical medicine (pyrethroid group scabicide) used for the treatment of scabies and certain lice infestations.

Uses:

Treatment of scabies caused by Sarcoptes scabiei mites.
Treatment of head lice and pubic lice infestations.
Helps eliminate mites and lice by affecting their nervous system.
Used for other ectoparasitic infestations as directed by a physician.

Dose:

Apply the cream as directed by a physician, usually as a thin layer over the affected areas or entire body depending on the condition.
For scabies, apply from neck down and leave on for 8–14 hours, then wash off.
A second application may be required after 7 days if advised by a physician.
Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and broken skin; wash hands after application.
