Description:
CALVASC 5mg Tablet contains Amlodipine 5 mg. It is a calcium channel blocker (dihydropyridine class) used to treat high blood pressure and angina (chest pain).
Uses:
- Hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Chronic stable angina
- Vasospastic (Prinzmetal) angina
- Helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications associated with high blood pressure
Dose:
- Usually 5 mg once daily or as directed by a doctor.
- Can be taken with or without food.
- Swallow the tablet whole with water.
- Dose may be adjusted based on blood pressure response and clinical condition.
