ERTU 5mg Tablet contains Empagliflozin 5 mg. It is an oral antidiabetic medicine belonging to the SGLT2 inhibitor group, used to control blood glucose levels in people with Type 2 diabetes mellitus by helping the kidneys remove excess glucose through urine.

Uses:

Treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Helps lower blood sugar levels along with diet and exercise.
Reduces the risk of cardiovascular complications in certain diabetic patients.
Helps reduce the risk of hospitalization due to heart failure in eligible patients.
May provide kidney protection in some patients with chronic kidney disease associated with diabetes (as prescribed).

Dose:
