OMARI 12.5 mg is a tablet containing omarigliptin 12.5 mg. It is an oral antidiabetic medicine used to improve blood glucose control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Uses:
- Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus
- Helps improve glycemic control along with diet and exercise
- May be used alone or in combination with other antidiabetic medicines
- Helps lower fasting and postprandial blood glucose levels
Dose:
- Adults: Usually 12.5 mg once weekly in patients requiring a reduced dose, or as directed by a physician
- May be taken with or without food
- Take on the same day each week
- Dose adjustment may be required in patients with impaired kidney function
- Follow the prescribed dose and duration as advised by a healthcare professional
