Description:
TETRABEZ 25mg Tablet contains Tetrabenazine 25 mg. It is a vesicular monoamine transporter 2 (VMAT2) inhibitor used to treat involuntary movements caused by certain neurological disorders.
Uses:
- Huntington’s disease–associated chorea (involuntary jerky movements)
- Tardive dyskinesia (abnormal involuntary movements caused by some medicines)
- Helps reduce uncontrolled body movements
Dose:
- Dose is individualized and usually started at a low dose, then adjusted gradually by a doctor.
- Take with or without food as directed.
- Do not stop taking it suddenly without medical advice.
- Regular monitoring may be needed for mood changes and movement symptoms.
