Description:
CIPROCIN 250mg/5ml Powder for Suspension contains Ciprofloxacin 250 mg per 5 ml when reconstituted. It is a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic for pediatric use that works by inhibiting bacterial DNA enzymes to eliminate susceptible bacteria.
Uses:
Treats urinary tract, kidney, and complicated ear, nose, or throat infections in children.
Treats gastrointestinal, intra-abdominal, and severe respiratory tract infections.
Manages typhoid fever and other severe systemic bacterial infections in pediatric patients.
Dose:
Children: Dose is calculated based on body weight, usually taken twice daily (every 12 hours), as directed by a physician.
Reconstitute with cooled boiled water before use; shake well before each dose, drink plenty of fluids, and complete the full prescribed course.
