Description:

Torax 30 mg/ml IM/IV Injection contains Ketorolac Tromethamine 30 mg/ml. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for short-term management of moderate to severe acute pain.

Uses:

Post-operative acute pain relief

Emergency management of severe acute pain

Severe renal colic pain

Acute pain when oral administration is not suitable

Dose:

30 mg per dose via intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) route

Administered every 6 hours as needed

IV injection should be given over at least 15 seconds; IM injection given deeply into muscle

Maximum duration of treatment is 2 days; total daily dose should not exceed 120 mg (60 mg in elderly patients or those with renal impairment)
