RENAPINE XR 200mg Tablet contains Quetiapine Fumarate Extended Release 200 mg. It is an atypical antipsychotic medicine that works by balancing certain chemical messengers (dopamine and serotonin) in the brain. The extended-release formulation provides a gradual release of medicine over time.

Uses:

Treatment of schizophrenia.
Treatment of bipolar disorder, including manic and depressive episodes.
Maintenance treatment of bipolar disorder to help prevent mood episodes.
Used as an add-on treatment for major depressive disorder (MDD) in some patients (as prescribed).
Helps reduce symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, mood swings, agitation, and disturbed thinking.

Dose:

Adults: Dose varies depending on the condition being treated and the patient's response. It is usually started at a low dose and gradually adjusted by a physician.
Take the tablet once daily, usually at the same time each day, as directed by a physician.
Swallow the extended-release tablet whole with water; do not crush, chew, or break it.
It may be taken with or without food (follow physician instructions).
May cause drowsiness or dizziness; avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.
