DICEF 500 mg Capsule contains Cephradine 500 mg, a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections.
Cephradine works by blocking the formation of the bacterial cell wall, causing bacteria to break down and die. It is effective against many Gram-positive and some Gram-negative bacteria responsible for common infections.

Respiratory tract infections

Pneumonia
Urinary tract infections (UTI)
Skin and soft tissue infections
Dental infections
Adults: Usually 500 mg every 6 hours or as prescribed by a physician
Dose depends on the type and severity of infection
Dose adjustment may be needed in kidney disease
Complete the full course of treatment
Can be taken with or without food
Swallow the capsule with water
Take at evenly spaced times
Do not skip doses
Complete the antibiotic course even if symptoms improve
