GENTIN 20 mg/2 ml IV/IM Injection contains Gentamicin Sulfate 20 mg/2 ml. It is an aminoglycoside antibiotic used to treat a wide range of serious bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms.

Treatment of urinary tract infections (UTIs)
Treatment of skin and soft tissue infections
Treatment of bone and joint infections
Treatment of intra-abdominal infections
Treatment of septicemia (bloodstream infections)
Treatment of bacterial meningitis (in combination with other antibiotics)
Treatment of other susceptible bacterial infections
Dose:
Adults and children: Dose is based on body weight, kidney function, and the severity of the infection, or as directed by a physician.
Administered by intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) injection by a qualified healthcare professional.
Regular monitoring of kidney function and, when appropriate, hearing may be required during treatment due to the risk of nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity.
