Description:
MEGABAC 4.5MIU(150MG) IV/IM INJECTION contains Colistimethate Sodium 4.5 MIU (150 mg). It is a polymyxin antibiotic medicine used to treat serious bacterial infections caused by susceptible gram-negative bacteria.
Uses:
Used for the treatment of severe bacterial infections.
Helps treat infections caused by multidrug-resistant bacteria.
Used for respiratory tract, urinary tract, and bloodstream infections as prescribed.
Helps eliminate infection-causing bacteria.
Dose:
Dose should be administered as directed by a registered physician.
Given by intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) injection under medical supervision.
Dosage depends on the type and severity of infection and kidney function.
