MONAS OFT 4 mg contains montelukast sodium 4 mg, an oral form (OFT) leukotriene receptor antagonist that reduces inflammation in the airways and helps control allergic reactions.
Uses:
- Treatment and prevention of asthma
- Relief of allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion)
- Prevention of exercise-induced breathing difficulty
- Reduction of airway inflammation due to allergies
Dose:
- Usually 4 mg once daily or as prescribed by a physician
- Commonly given in children
- Take in the evening or as directed by doctor
- Do not exceed prescribed dose
