Description

Azithromycin works by stopping bacterial protein synthesis, preventing bacteria from growing and multiplying. It is effective against many respiratory, skin, ear, throat, and sexually transmitted bacterial infections.

Uses

It is used for:

Throat infection (tonsillitis/pharyngitis)
Sinusitis
Bronchitis and pneumonia

Typical Dose

Common adult dosing:

Respiratory or throat infections:
