M-Son 50mcg Nasal Spray is a prescription corticosteroid nasal spray manufactured by Drug International Ltd.
Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis: Prescribed to relieve bothersome seasonal (hay fever) and perennial (year-round) indoor allergy symptoms, including sneezing, itchy nose, runny nose, and nasal congestion.
Prophylaxis of Allergy Symptoms: Used as a preventive treatment in adults and adolescents (12 years and older) when started 2 to 4 weeks before the anticipated allergen or pollen season begins.
Treatment of Nasal Polyps: Indicated for adults (18 years and older) to shrink nasal polyps, which helps reduce the feeling of congestion and improves nasal airflow.
Adults and Children (Ages 12 and older) for Allergies: The standard dose is 2 sprays in each nostril once daily (total daily dose of 200mcg).
Children (Ages 2 to 11): The standard dose is 1 spray in each nostril once daily (total daily dose of 100mcg).
For Nasal Polyps (Adults): The standard recommended dose is 2 sprays in each nostril twice daily (morning and evening).
Prime the Spray: If using the bottle for the very first time, or if you have not used it for a week or more, shake well and press the pump down several times into the air until a fine, uniform mist appears.
Prepare: Gently blow your nose to clear your nostrils before use.
Administer: Tilt your head slightly forward.
Spray and Breathe: Firmly press the pump down once while breathing in gently through your nose.
Clean Regularly: Wipe the plastic nozzle with a clean tissue after use and replace the dust cap. Clean the applicator with warm water at least once a week to prevent clogging.
Mild nosebleeds (epistaxis) or blood-tinged nasal mucus.
Nasal irritation, burning, or dryness.
Headache.
Sore throat, coughing, or minor upper respiratory tract irritation.
