Description:
FLUCLOXIN Injection 500 MG IM/IV contains Flucloxacillin 500 mg. It is a penicillinase-resistant penicillin antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive bacteria, especially staphylococcal infections.
Uses:
Treats skin and soft tissue infections.
Treats bone and joint infections.
Treats respiratory tract infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
Treats other serious bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms.
Dose:
Administer only by a registered physician or qualified healthcare professional.
The usual adult dose depends on the type and severity of infection.
Given by intramuscular (IM) injection or intravenous (IV) injection/infusion as prescribed.
