Magolin 5mg Tablet is an oral prescription neuroprotective and nerve-pain medication manufactured by Drug International Ltd.
Neuropathic Pain Management: Prescribed for the treatment and long-term relief of peripheral neuropathic pain caused by nerve damage or dysfunction.
Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathic Pain (DPNP): Indicated to ease burning, tingling, or shooting nerve pain in the feet, legs, or hands of individuals with diabetes.
Postherpetic Neuralgia (PHN): Used to treat persistent, debilitating nerve pain that remains after a shingles infection.
Adult Starting Dose: 5mg taken orally twice daily (morning and evening).
Gradual Titration: To allow the body to adapt, your doctor may increase the dose in increments of 5mg at intervals of at least one week, up to a standard maintenance dose of 10mg to 15mg twice daily.
Renal Adjustments: Because Mirogabalin is primarily cleared by the kidneys, individuals with moderate or severe renal dysfunction require careful, downward adjustments to their daily dosage.
Take this medication twice daily (once in the morning and once in the evening), exactly as instructed by your healthcare professional.
It can be taken with or without food, as meals do not alter how the drug is absorbed.
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, break, split, or chew it.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next regular dose, skip the missed tablet and resume your schedule. Do not take two doses at the same time.
