Generalized tonic-clonic seizures

Status epilepticus (as part of emergency seizure management)
Adults: Usually 100 mg 2–3 times daily or as prescribed by a physician
Dose may be adjusted according to seizure control and blood phenytoin levels
Children’s dose is calculated according to body weight
Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor
Swallow the tablet with water
Take at the same time each day
Do not stop suddenly, as seizures may worsen
