Description:
Vanmycin 500 mg/vial IV INFUSION contains Vancomycin 500 mg. It is a glycopeptide antibiotic medicine used for the treatment of serious bacterial infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive bacteria.
Uses:
Helps treat severe bacterial infections.
Used for bloodstream, bone, and joint infections.
Helps treat skin and soft tissue infections.
Used for serious infections caused by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and other susceptible bacteria.
Dose:
Administer by intravenous (IV) infusion as directed by a registered physician.
Dose depends on the type and severity of infection, kidney function, age, and body weight.
