FLAGYL 400mg Tablet contains Metronidazole 400 mg. It is an antiprotozoal and antibacterial medicine used to treat infections caused by anaerobic bacteria and certain parasites by damaging their DNA and stopping their growth.

Uses:

Treatment of amoebiasis (amoebic dysentery).
Treatment of giardiasis.
Treatment of trichomoniasis.
Treatment of anaerobic bacterial infections.
Treatment of dental infections caused by anaerobic bacteria.
Treatment of certain gastrointestinal infections.
Treatment of bacterial vaginosis (as prescribed).
