CRIPTINE 2.5 mg TABLET contains Bromocriptine Mesylate 2.5 mg. It is a dopamine agonist and prolactin inhibitor medicine used for the treatment of hyperprolactinemia and related hormonal disorders.

Uses:

Treatment of hyperprolactinemia (high prolactin hormone levels)
Management of prolactin-secreting pituitary tumors (prolactinomas)
Treatment of infertility, amenorrhea, galactorrhea, and hypogonadism associated with high prolactin levels
Treatment of Parkinson’s disease and acromegaly as prescribed by the physician

Dose:

Usually started with 1.25–2.5 mg once daily, then adjusted according to the condition and physician’s advice
Take the tablet with food to reduce stomach-related side effects
Swallow the tablet whole with water and take it at the same time each day
