LEVEFIX 500mg/5ml SYRUP 50 ML contains Levetiracetam 500 mg/5 ml. It is an antiepileptic (anticonvulsant) medicine used for the treatment of epilepsy and the prevention of various types of seizures.

Uses:

Treatment of partial-onset seizures.
Adjunctive treatment of myoclonic seizures in patients with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy.
Adjunctive treatment of primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures.
Monotherapy for newly diagnosed partial-onset epilepsy in appropriate patients.

Dose:

Take the dose exactly as prescribed by a physician.
Usually taken twice daily, with or without food.
Measure the syrup accurately using a calibrated measuring cup or oral syringe before administration.
The dose and duration of treatment should be adjusted according to the patient's age, body weight, kidney function, and clinical response. Do not stop the medicine abruptly without medical advice.
