Ostan Plus 50mg+12.5mg Tablet contains Losartan Potassium 50 mg + Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg. It is a combination of an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) and a thiazide diuretic used to lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and removing excess salt and water from the body.

Uses:

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).
Helps reduce the risk of stroke in certain patients with hypertension.
Management of high blood pressure when a single medicine is not sufficient.
Helps reduce fluid retention associated with hypertension.
Supports protection of the heart and kidneys in appropriate patients, as prescribed.

Dose:

Adults: Usually 1 tablet once daily or as directed by a physician.
Take the tablet with or without food.
Take the medicine at the same time each day for the best effect.
Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolyte levels may be required during treatment.
