Description:
MOTIGUT 5 mg/5 ml Suspension 60ML contains Domperidone 5 mg/5 ml. It is a dopamine antagonist and gastroprokinetic agent used for managing nausea, vomiting, and upper gastrointestinal motility disorders.
Uses:
• Relief of acute nausea and vomiting of various origins
• Management of dyspeptic symptoms like bloating, upper abdominal pain, and early satiety
• Relief of heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux symptoms
• Improvement of delayed gastric emptying and stomach motility
Dose:
• Adults: 10 ml to 20 ml (10 mg to 20 mg) every 6 to 8 hours as needed
• Children: 2 ml to 4 ml per 10 kg body weight (0.2 mg to 0.4 mg/kg) every 6 to 8 hours
• Take 15 to 30 minutes before meals and at bedtime if needed
• Shake bottle well before use; dosage and duration must be guided by a physician
