Description:
SALOST 5mg Tablet contains Risedronate Sodium 5 mg. It is a bisphosphonate used to prevent and treat osteoporosis and other bone disorders by slowing bone loss and increasing bone strength.
Uses:
- Treatment and prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women
- Osteoporosis in men
- Corticosteroid-induced osteoporosis
- Paget's disease of bone
Dose:
- Usually 5 mg once daily or as directed by a doctor.
- Take at least 30 minutes before the first food, drink (except plain water), or other medicines of the day.
- Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of plain water while sitting or standing upright.
- Do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking the tablet.
