TERBEX 1% Cream 5 gm contains Terbinafine Hydrochloride 1%. It is a topical allylamine antifungal medicine used for the treatment of fungal infections of the skin. It works by stopping the growth of fungi causing infection.

Uses:

Treatment of fungal skin infections such as tinea corporis (ringworm)
Treatment of tinea cruris (jock itch)
Treatment of tinea pedis (athlete’s foot)
Treatment of other superficial fungal infections caused by susceptible fungi
Helps relieve symptoms such as itching, redness, and irritation caused by fungal infection

Dose:

Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area once or twice daily, or as prescribed by the physician
Clean and dry the affected area before application
Rub gently over the affected skin and surrounding area
Usual treatment duration depends on infection type, commonly 1–2 weeks for tinea corporis/cruris and about 1 week for tinea pedis
Continue treatment for the recommended duration even if symptoms improve early
