Esotid MUPS 20 mg (Tablet) contains Esomeprazole 20 mg in a Multiple Unit Pellet System (MUPS) formulation. It is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid production and is used to treat acid-related gastrointestinal disorders.

Uses:

Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers
Management of erosive esophagitis
Prevention of NSAID-induced gastric ulcers
Part of Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy (in combination with antibiotics)
Treatment of Zollinger–Ellison syndrome

Dose:

Adults: Usually 20 mg once daily or as directed by a physician.
Take the medicine exactly as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
It is preferably taken 30–60 minutes before a meal, usually before breakfast.
The tablet may be swallowed whole or dispersed in a small amount of water if needed; do not crush or chew the pellets.
Dose and duration depend on the patient's condition and response to treatment.
