ALPHALOK 2 MG Tablet contains Prazosin Hydrochloride 2 mg. It is an alpha-1 adrenergic blocker (antihypertensive medicine) used for the treatment of hypertension, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and certain vascular disorders.

Uses:

Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension).
Management of urinary symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
Treatment of Raynaud's phenomenon and Raynaud's disease.
Adjunct treatment of left ventricular heart failure.

Dose:

Take the dose exactly as prescribed by a physician.
Usually started with a low dose at bedtime, then gradually increased according to the patient's response.
The tablet may be taken with or without food and should be swallowed with water.
The dose and duration of treatment should be adjusted based on the patient's condition, and the medicine should not be stopped abruptly without medical advice.
