DICEF 250 mg Capsule contains Cephradine 250 mg, a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections.
Cephradine works by preventing bacteria from forming their protective cell wall, which leads to bacterial destruction. It is effective against many Gram-positive and some Gram-negative bacterial infections.
Throat infections (tonsillitis, pharyngitis)
Ear infections (otitis media)
Sinus infections
Respiratory tract infections
Bronchitis
Pneumonia
Urinary tract infections (UTI)
Skin and soft tissue infections
Dental infections
Adults: Usually 250–500 mg every 6 hours or as prescribed by a physician
Dose depends on infection type, severity, age, and kidney function
Complete the full course of treatment as directed
Can be taken with or without food
Swallow the capsule with water
Take at evenly spaced times
Complete the antibiotic course even if symptoms improve

Do not use if allergic to cephalosporin or penicillin antibiotics
Use cautiously in patients with kidney disease
Antibiotics do not treat viral infections such as cold or flu
