Mycofree 250mg Tablet is an oral prescription antifungal medication manufactured by Drug International Ltd. It contains Terbinafine (250mg) as its active ingredient.
Treatment of Fungal Nail Infections (Onychomycosis): Prescribed to cure persistent fungal infections affecting both fingernails and toenails.
Management of Ringworm (Tinea Corporis & Tinea Cruris):
Treatment of Athlete's Foot (Tinea Pedis): Indicated for stubborn fungal infections located on the feet and between the toes.
For Skin Infections (Body, Groin, or Feet): The standard adult dose is 1 tablet (250mg) taken once daily, usually for a duration of 2 to 6 weeks depending on the severity.
For Nail Infections: 1 tablet (250mg) taken once daily for 6 weeks (for fingernail infections) or 12 weeks (for toenail infections).
Note: This medication is not recommended for individuals with active or chronic liver disease.
Take this tablet once daily at the same time each day, exactly as directed by your physician.
It can be taken with or without food, as meals do not affect how the medicine is absorbed.
Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush, break, or chew it.
Complete the full course of treatment prescribed by your doctor, even if your symptoms disappear early. Stopping too soon can allow the fungal infection to return.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If your next regular dose is less than 4 hours away, skip the missed tablet and resume your standard schedule. Do not take two doses at once.
Headache.
Mild digestive symptoms, including nausea, diarrhea, indigestion, abdominal pain, or a temporary loss/disturbance of taste.
Skin rash, itching, or hives.
Mild elevations in liver enzymes.
