Description:
DEXONEX-C 0.1%+0.5% eye drop 5 ML contains Dexamethasone Phosphate 0.1% and Chloramphenicol 0.5%. It is a combination corticosteroid and antibacterial ophthalmic solution used for treating steroid-responsive ocular inflammatory conditions with bacterial infection.
Uses:
• Steroid-responsive inflammatory eye conditions with bacterial infection risk
• Acute bacterial conjunctivitis
• Superficial corneal inflammation and corneal ulcers
• Post-operative ocular inflammation with associated bacterial infection
Dose:
• Instill 1 to 2 drops into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye
• Apply every 2 to 4 hours, or as directed by an ophthalmologist based on severity
• Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface; wash hands before application
• Duration of treatment must be prescribed by a doctor; avoid prolonged use without intraocular pressure monitoring
