RESOLVE Shampoo 2% 100ml contains Ketoconazole 2%. It is a topical antifungal shampoo used for the treatment and prevention of fungal infections of the scalp, dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, and pityriasis versicolor.
Uses:
- Treatment and prevention of dandruff
- Treatment of seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp
- Treatment of pityriasis versicolor (tinea versicolor)
- Helps control fungal infections caused by Malassezia species on the scalp and skin
Dose:
- Apply shampoo to the affected area and leave for 3–5 minutes before rinsing, or as directed by the physician
- For dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis, usually used twice weekly for 2–4 weeks
- For prevention of recurrence, use as directed by the physician
- Duration of treatment should be adjusted according to the severity of infection and clinical response
