MAVE 135 mg Tablet contains Mebeverine Hydrochloride 135 mg. It is an antispasmodic medicine (musculotropic smooth muscle relaxant) used for the relief of intestinal cramps, abdominal pain, and symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Uses:

Symptomatic treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
Relief of intestinal spasms and abdominal cramps.
Treatment of spastic constipation and chronic irritable colon.
Relief of colicky abdominal pain, mucous colitis, and non-specific diarrhoea associated with bowel spasm.

Dose:

Take the dose exactly as prescribed by a physician.
Adults and children over 10 years: Usually 1 tablet three times daily.
Preferably take the tablet 20 minutes before meals.
Swallow the tablet whole with water; after symptom control, the dose may be reduced gradually as advised by a physician.
