Description:
BETHACOL 25mg Tablet contains Bethanechol Chloride 25 mg. It is a cholinergic (muscarinic agonist) medicine used to stimulate bladder and urinary tract muscle activity.
Uses:
Treats urinary retention (difficulty emptying the bladder)
Helps improve bladder muscle contraction
Used after certain surgeries when bladder function is reduced
May be used in some cases of neurogenic bladder
Dose:
Usually 25 mg three or four times daily or as prescribed by your doctor
Take on an empty stomach, usually 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals
Take only as directed by your doctor
Duration depends on the condition and your doctor's advice
