CEFTIZONE 2gm IV Injection contains Ceftriaxone Sodium equivalent to Ceftriaxone 2 gm. It is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used for the treatment of moderate to severe bacterial infections.

Uses:

Treatment of respiratory tract infections including pneumonia
Treatment of urinary tract infections
Treatment of skin and soft tissue infections
Treatment of meningitis, septicemia, bone and joint infections, and other serious bacterial infections caused by susceptible bacteria

Dose:

Usually 1–2 gm once daily by IV or IM injection, or as prescribed by the physician
For severe infections, the dose may be increased according to the patient's condition
Administered through intravenous (IV) injection/infusion by a healthcare professional
