Azicin 500mg Tablet contains Azithromycin Dihydrate 500 mg. It is a macrolide antibiotic medicine used for the treatment of various bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms.

Uses:

Treatment of upper respiratory tract infections such as sinusitis, pharyngitis, and tonsillitis.
Treatment of lower respiratory tract infections including bronchitis and pneumonia.
Treatment of ear infections (otitis media).
Treatment of skin and soft tissue infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
Treatment of certain sexually transmitted infections as prescribed by a physician.

Dose:

Take the dose exactly as prescribed by a physician.
Usually taken 500 mg once daily for 3 days or according to the prescribed treatment schedule.
Take the tablet with or without food and swallow with water.
Complete the full course of treatment even if symptoms improve earlier.
