CABOLIN 0.5mg TABLET contains Cabergoline 0.5 mg. It is a dopamine receptor agonist (prolactin inhibitor) medicine used for the treatment of high prolactin levels (hyperprolactinemia) and related hormonal disorders.

Uses:

Treatment of hyperprolactinemia (high prolactin hormone levels)
Management of prolactin-secreting pituitary tumors (prolactinomas)
Treatment of menstrual irregularities and infertility associated with high prolactin levels
Suppression of excessive breast milk production (lactation) when medically indicated

Dose:

Usually 0.25 mg to 0.5 mg twice weekly, or as prescribed by the physician
Take the tablet with food to reduce stomach-related side effects
Swallow the tablet whole with water
