Description:

LEBAC 125mg/5ml Powder for Suspension contains Cephradine 125 mg per 5 ml when reconstituted. It is a first-generation, broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic for pediatric use that works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to the destruction of susceptible Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

Uses:

Treats upper and lower respiratory tract infections (e.g., tonsillitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis, otitis media, acute/chronic bronchitis, pneumonia).
Manages urinary tract infections (e.g., cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis).
Treats skin and soft tissue infections (e.g., abscesses, cellulitis, impetigo) and gastrointestinal infections.

Dose:

Children: Usually 25 mg to 50 mg/kg body weight per day divided into 2 to 4 doses (for otitis media: 75 to 100 mg/kg/day in divided doses), as prescribed by a physician.
Reconstitute with cooled boiled water before use; shake well before each dose and complete the full prescribed course strictly as directed.
