FRUSIN PLUS 20 mg + 50 mg Tablet contains Furosemide 20 mg + Spironolactone 50 mg. It is a combination diuretic (water pill) used to remove excess fluid from the body while helping maintain potassium balance.

Uses:

Treatment of edema (fluid retention) associated with heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or kidney disease
Management of ascites due to liver cirrhosis
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) when appropriate
Helps reduce swelling in the legs, ankles, and feet caused by fluid accumulation

Dose:

Adults: Usually 1 tablet once or twice daily or as directed by a physician.
Take the medicine exactly as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
It is preferably taken in the morning (and early afternoon if a second dose is required) to reduce nighttime urination.
Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolyte levels (especially potassium) may be required.
