OMETID 20 mg Capsule contains Omeprazole 20 mg. It is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) medicine used to reduce stomach acid production and treat acid-related gastrointestinal disorders.
Uses:
- Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
- Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers.
- Management of erosive esophagitis.
- Treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other acid-related disorders.
Dose:
- Adults: Usually 20–40 mg once daily before a meal or as directed by a physician.
- Take the medicine exactly as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
