Description:
MEROJECT Injection IM/IV 1GM/20ML contains Meropenem 1 g. It is a carbapenem antibiotic used to treat severe bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms.
Uses:
Treats severe respiratory tract infections.
Treats complicated urinary tract and intra-abdominal infections.
Treats skin and soft tissue infections.
Treats bacterial meningitis and other serious bacterial infections.
Dose:
Administer only by a registered physician or qualified healthcare professional.
The usual adult dose is 500 mg to 1 g every 8 hours, depending on the type and severity of infection.
Given by intravenous (IV) infusion or injection, or intramuscular (IM) injection as prescribed.
The dose and duration of treatment should be determined by your physician.
