Description:
ELTROPAG 25MG TABLET contains Eltrombopag 25 mg. It is a thrombopoietin receptor agonist medicine used to increase platelet production in patients with certain platelet disorders.
Uses:
Used for the treatment of chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP).
Helps increase platelet count in patients with low platelet levels.
Used in severe aplastic anemia as prescribed.
Helps reduce the risk of bleeding associated with low platelet counts.
Dose:
Dose should be taken as directed by a registered physician.
Usually taken once daily on an empty stomach or as prescribed.
Avoid taking with dairy products, calcium supplements, or antacids close to the dosing time.
Regular monitoring of platelet count and liver function may be required during treatment.
