M-Kast 10mg Tablet is an oral prescription respiratory medication manufactured by Drug International Ltd.
Prophylaxis and Chronic Asthma Treatment: Used as a long-term daily controller medication to prevent daytime and nighttime asthma symptoms and reduce the frequency of asthma flare-ups.
Relief of Allergic Rhinitis: Indicated to relieve symptoms of both seasonal allergies (hay fever) and perennial allergies (year-round), including nasal congestion, sneezing, a runny nose, and itchy, watery eyes.
Prevention of Exercise-Induced Bronchospasm (EIB): Used to prevent sudden narrowing of the airways and shortness of breath triggered by physical exertion or exercise.
Adults and Adolescents (Ages 15 and older): The standard dosage is 1 tablet (10mg) taken once daily.
For Asthma and Allergies: The dose is typically taken in the evening to optimize control over nighttime and early morning symptoms.
For Exercise-Induced Bronchospasm Only: A single tablet is taken at least 2 hours before exercise.
Take this medication once daily at the same time each day, preferably in the evening, exactly as directed by your healthcare provider.
It can be taken with or without food, swallowed whole with a glass of water.
Continue taking M-Kast every day even if you feel completely better, as it works continuously to prevent symptoms rather than stop them immediately.
